There is no fire like greed,
No crime like hatred,
No sorrow like separation,
No sickness like hunger of heart,
And no joy like the joy of freedom.
Health, contentment and trust
Are your greatest possessions,
And freedom your greatest joy.
Look within. Be still.
Free from fear and attachment,
Know the sweet joy of living in the way.

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves like locked rooms and like books that are written in a very foreign tongue. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is, to live everything. Live the questions now. Perhaps you will find them gradually, without noticing it, and live along some distant day into the answer.

Fear Not. Be a child of Light
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate.
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure.
It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?
Actually who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people will not feel insecure around you.
We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It is not in just some of us: it is in everyone.
And as we let our own light shine we unconsciously give people permission to do the same.
As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberate others.
~Nelson Mandela

Just as a mother would protect with her life her own son, her only son,
so one should cultivate an unbounded mind towards all beings, and loving-kindness towards all the world.
One should cultivate an unbounded mind, above and below and across, without obstruction, without enmity, without rivalry.
Standing, or going, or seated, or lying down, as long as one is free from drowsiness, one should practice this mindfulness.
This, they say, is the holy state here.
~Sutta Nipata

Vulnerable is as Vulnerable does
I stumbled a slight fall,
My heart gave way then back again.
The words of interest filled my brain
Found myself pushing, turning
Encourage all thoughts.
It seemed you'd be gentle as a bear.
My heart sinks down the path
For all i yearn is that gorgeous stare.

Less Than One, by Joseph Brodsky: "The surest defense against evil is extreme individualism, originality of thinking, whimsicality -- even if you will, eccentricity . . . Evil is a sucker for solidarity. It always goes for big numbers, for confident granite, for ideological purity, for drilled armies and balance sheets."

Create
In a pellucid ocean,
Bubbles arise and dissolve again.
Just so, thoughts are no
Different from ultimate reality,
So don't find fault; remain at ease.
Whatever arises, whatever occurs,
Don't grasp-release it on the spot.
Appearances, sounds, and objects.
All are one's own mind;
There's nothing except mind.
~Buddha from the Dhammapada

The 14th Dalai Lama
If the love within your mind is lost and you see other beings as enemies, then no matter how much knowledge or education or material comfort you have, only suffering and confusion will ensue.

a sunny Thursday morning
I believe wisdom is experience and if falling one should peacefully get back up and try again.
happiness, simplicity and understanding
Under the bright sun, many of us are gathered together with different languages, different styles of dress, even different faiths. However, all of us are the same in being humans, and we all uniquely have the thought of I, and we´re all the same in wanting happiness and in wanting to avoid suffering.

Whether we are rich or poor, educated or uneducated, whatever our nationality, color, social status, or ideology may be, the purpose of our lives is to be happy.

My thought of the Day
I have come to a further clarity in continuing to weed out my garden. I have taken great consideration of what may drain me of who i am from being with one in harmony. to these entities that choose to reap, i shall be free from the lock down and hope for thoust day of clarvoyance.
